His Story
Shon has over 25 years of experience in digital signal processing and digital communication. He has expertise in global system for mobile communication (GSM), Tetra, UMTS, and CDMA2000 physical layers.
While an engineer at Motorola, Shon did extensive work in video algorithm research for 3G cellular phones, MPEG 4 and H.324 video conferencing algorithms including H.261 video standards. As an audio engineer at Motorola, Shon developed algorithms for echo cancellation software for automotive hands-free systems.
As an engineer at Raytheon, Shon worked with prototype software and computers off the shelf (COTS) hardware to develop commercial/ military-based radar systems.
